The Mission of AMP
As filmmakers ourselves, we've run into all the challenges. Sometimes the lack of resources and experience can stop a film dead in its tracks. And let's face it, Virginia Tech doesn't have the best atmosphere to encourage the student filmmaker. We know the frustration with taking matters into your own hands. It's hard to find people as dedicated as you. But we're changing all that. Filmmaking has been an underground movement at Virginia Tech for too long; now we're bringing it to the surface. AMP is the place where students are united in the passion for filmmaking. Like the energy drink, we'll supercharge you, we'll encourage you. If you've got a great idea, we won't let it go to waste.
